We take your privacy seriously. The interactive calculators on Ground Up Money run in your own browser. We do not transmit, collect, or store the personal financial numbers you type into them.
If you create an account for the FinFlow app (app.groundupmoney.com), the app stores your account details and the budget and profile data you choose to save, so that you can log in and see it again. That data is stored with our hosting providers and is used only to run the app for you.
The website does not currently use an analytics tool. Our web host (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, pages requested and time, for security and to run the service. Each page also asks app.groundupmoney.com whether you are signed in, which is an ordinary request to that server; if you are not signed in, nothing about you is stored.
The app runs on Vercel and stores its data with Neon (database hosting). Account emails are sent through Resend, and Cloudflare provides domain name (DNS) services for the site. You can sign up with your email, or sign in with Google or Microsoft, which confirm your identity to us so that we receive your name and email address. The same account works on the app and on this website.
You can ask for a copy of the data held about your FinFlow account, or ask us to delete your account and its data, by emailing [email protected]. See also our cookies page.
The site does not currently show advertising. We may use Google AdSense in future. If we do, Google, as a third-party vendor, will use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites, and we will show a consent notice first where the law requires it. You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads), or at www.aboutads.info.
